The Weekly GELT's TOP - Nov. 15, 2014

Artist of the week : Dean Ray
22-year-old singer songwriter Dean Ray was to compete last month with Marlisa in the final of the 6th X-Factor Australia session. His first contract to Sony arrived in the meantime bringing forward the release of his very first single Coming Back. Introduced at an early age to the music thanks to his parents who had their own traveling Country band,  he toured with them across Australia while learning to play drums and guitar before making his debut on stage in the family group. In a rock style tinted with blues sounds where are found  influences going from Elvis Presley to Milky ChanceDean Ray also knows to make the most of a bad boy look to catch the public. Described however both confuse and crazy, he is nevertheless a true showman, despite X-Factor jury, quick to see him as “asshole.” His first album for which he worries not having written music will be release this late month and we must hope, as he says himself, that it will show enough novelty to face a formatting that he blames about TV Reality shows. So, watch your step.
